Q. Will another dog’s barking set off the Bark Control Collar?
  • No. If you have multiple dogs, you do not have to worry about one dog setting off the other dog’s control collar.

Q. Are Bark Control Collars safe and humane to use?
  • Yes. All products are tested and proven to be safe. The bark control collar is not designed to punish the dog, but rather to the dog’s immediate attention. However, the initial static correction may startle the dog in early training.

Q. Will the Bark Control Collar work for my dog?
  • The bark control collar is safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs. Although, it is not recommend for dogs less than 8 pounds to wear comfortably.

Q. Can I attach a leash to the Bark Control Collar?
  • No. The bark control collar has a pair of contact points that can irritate a dog’s skin if pressure is applied. You can attach a leash to a separate and non-metallic collar, just as long as it does not rub against the bark control collar.

Q. I am concerned that once I use a bark control collar, my dog will stop barking altogether. Will this happen?
  • It is very unlikely, especially if owners follow the advice in the training manual provided. Barking comes naturally to dogs and this method of training is designed to teach the dog to only do so when appropriate.

Q. I would like my dog to learn not to bark only when the collar is on. Is this possible?
  • Yes, this is possible. The best way accomplish this is by placing the bark control collar on the dog only in those situations in which owners do not want the dog to bark. Then, remove the collar in situations when it is okay for the dog to bark.
