Muffler, also called as silencer, is a device specifically created to reduce the amount of noise produced by the machine while allowing fluid or gas to flow through it at the same time.

They are usually made of stainless steel and include all-stainless shell, end caps, and even weld beads. A muffler is also composed of baffles sequence which acts as the sound absorber.
